between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

The 2024 election cycle has been unique in many ways in dealing with the ripple effects from protests, residual from the pandemic, and historic divisions. The impact of this election will be seen in the days and months ahead. Join us for a look at the results of the 2024 elections with a panel analysis moderated by Dr. Russell Arben Fox, Professor of Political Science at Friends University. The panel includes: Pilar Pedraza, KAKE Anchor/Senior Political Reporter; Bonita Gooch, Editor-in-Chief of The Community Voice newspaper and Marco Alcocer, Editor and Publisher of El Perico Informador, LLC and Host of KMUW Radio Real. Find out more about how this year’s election results will shape public policy and affect our lives.
There will be time for questions from the audience at the conclusion of the program. Tuesday Topics is a partnership event of the Wichita Public Library and the League of Women Voters of Wichita Metro. The public is welcome. No pre-registration is needed.

Come Wednesday, December 11th to help us welcome America‘s newest citizens and encourage their first exercise of rights as they register to vote. This is always a moving and rewarding experience, one you‘ll want to repeat many times! The ceremony takes place at WSU Hughes MetroPlex, 5501 East 29th St. Wichita, KS 66226 Parking is easy and accessible. Enter the parking lot on the south side of the building off 29th Street East.
