October 27 - Misinformation In the Age of AI
Enrichment Librarian Jenny Durham will talk about generative AI and how it has impacted the way people seek out information, how they interpret and use that information, and how the rapid adoption of these tools by major corporations and news organizations has made identifying misinformation more challenging. She will also share tips on how to spot misinformation as well as how to utilize generative AI tools responsibly when using it for research and information seeking by developing a fundamental understanding of its strengths and limitations.
