What if the biggest opportunity to grow voter turnout in Kansas isn’t finding new people—but reaching the ones already here?

At our upcoming program meeting, we’re taking a closer look at what the data tells us—and what we can do with it.

Our speaker will include information what drove record engagement in 2022 and where participation still falls short. For example, in just 12 weeks, over 70,000 Kansans registered to vote—a 64% jump over prior cycles. And yet, hundreds of thousands of eligible voters still don’t participate, especially younger voters and communities of color.

We’ll also learn how coordinated outreach efforts are working across the state—and how our League can plug into that strategy in a meaningful, nonpartisan way.

We will introduce new tools that make outreach simpler and more flexible—whether you have time to make a few calls, send texts, or help connect with your own network.

This is where it becomes real:
There are nearly 500,000 infrequent voters in Kansas who just need a nudge. There are over 200,000 registered voters who have never voted at all.

This is our opportunity to make a difference
