AAPI Heritage Month Kick-Off Celebration
Old Town Plaza,  2nd and Mead, Wichita KS
Saturday May 4th
2pm to 4pm

Wichita Asian Association is hosting a Kick-off celebration to celebrate the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month sponsored by the Spice Merchant. The event will be on Saturday, May 4th from 2.00-4.00pm at the old town plaza at Mead and  E 2nd St North, Wichita, 67213.

The event will be no-cost, open to all, and family friendly. There is something for everyone at this event - Asian food sampling (as supplies last), kids booth area, cultural Asian attire, cultural performances and much more.

Open Streets ICT - NoMar

Come join us on at ICT Open Streets NOMAR on Cinco de Mayo - a FREE neighborhood community-building bringing Wichitans of all ages and fitness levels together to promote healthy active living and social engagement.

We'll be tabling, talking to people about the importance of voting, and sharing the tools at our disposal so folks can register themselves to vote. Plus, you get to check out all the other fun in the area! In addition to table workers, we'll also need helpers for set-up and take-down. This year we're at Woodland Park, 841 W 21st Street, Wichita 67203.

Party for the People - 50th Anniversary Keeper of the Plains Dedication

Mid-America All-Indian Museum
650 N Seneca St, Wichita, KS

"Party for the People," will be hosted by the Bosin Society along City of Wichita-Government, Sedgwick County Government, Evergy and a few other sponsors. They will host a free family-friendly celebration centered around a powwow, Native performances, free museum admission, Native youth and adult art exhibits, food trucks, outdoor games and activities for kids and ending with fireworks.
