About this event

The 2024 election cycle has been unique in many ways in dealing with the ripple effects from protests, residual from the pandemic, and historic divisions. The impact of this election will be seen in the days and months ahead. Join us for a look at the results of the 2024 elections with a panel analysis moderated by Dr. Russell Arben Fox, Professor of Political Science at Friends University. The panel includes: Pilar Pedraza, KAKE Anchor/Senior Political Reporter; Bonita Gooch, Editor-in-Chief of The Community Voice newspaper and Marco Alcocer, Editor and Publisher of El Perico Informador, LLC and Host of KMUW Radio Real. Find out more about how this year’s election results will shape public policy and affect our lives.

There will be time for questions from the audience at the conclusion of the program. Tuesday Topics is a partnership event of the Wichita Public Library and the League of Women Voters of Wichita Metro. The public is welcome. No pre-registration is needed.
