In the upcoming Legislature there are many, many issues about which the League has concerns. 8:30 +-- Registration, Rolls and Coffee or Tea 9:00 + League Day Welcome and Session I on impacts of governor's tax and funding proposals. 10:00 Break 10:15 Session II with LWVK legislative expert, Paul Johnson updates us on legislative goings-on. 11:15 lunch with a presenter on one of the HOT ISSUES. St. John's Episcopal Church + 3rd and Topeka (east/parking lot entrance) Partners for Wichita -Bags of Blessings From the Heart. Help us collect "Bags of Blessings" (gallon size bag of personal care items) for those that are in need of assistance in the Wichita and surrounding areas.

As you fill your gallon bags keep in mind that we are looking for travel size, non-fragrant, no pink items+ for men, women, boys & girls - Fill the bags or bring "loose" items.

Items for each Bag
Soap (bar, liquid or sanitizer),Hand Lotion,Razor, Shampoo/Conditioner, Deodorant,Comb, Chapstick/lip balm, Washcloth,Kleenex, Emery board or clippers, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Shaving Cream.

(one size fits all knit gloves and caps are helpful) Recipients also enjoy receiving wrapped snack bars
