Sunshine Kansas: A Dialogue on Open Government

Ernestine Krehbiel, co-president of the Wichita Metro LWV said, "Sunshine in Government is about the right of all citizens to know what their government is doing--and why. This has been a precious American characteristic from the beginning of the nation. But Open Government only works if citizens care enough to pay attention. Public apathy will defeat all efforts to bring more sunshine in all levels of government."
