Alternative Christmas
At the Alternative Christmas Fair the League sponsored a table for "Justice for Future Citizens". Betty Ladwig, Mary Knecht, Ernestine Krehbiel and Nona Ponder (not pictured) helped at the table where people could "buy" a small token ornament in exchange for a donation.
HERstory Alive pageant

of struggle to pass the 19th Amendment.

Kansas Senator Nancy Kassebaum Baker, who was the first woman elected to the Senate in her own right. August 26, 2005 the Wichita League celebrated the 85th anniversary of women's right to vote.
